Thoughtfully curated amenities (there was nothing we needed and didn’t have, right down to blankets to sit outside on chillier nights), and comfortable beds. The decor is quintessential Palm Springs – you can tell a lot of thought went into planning this house. Would come back any time!

Beautiful decor in every single room! You can tell a lot of effort was put into all parts of this home to ensure a positive experience for guests… The outdoor space is amazing! Many houses in Palm Springs didn’t have shade in the backyard & this one has the cabanas & a few easy-to-use stylish umbrellas that create shade and made a significant difference. Everything about the house was intentional, making the stay in Palm Springs even more enjoyable.

I have to say this place is simply one of a kind… The interior design was fun and retro with a modern twist with the colors and wallpaper, and even the decor was unique, from the couch to the chairs to the mirrors (not to mention that chandelier!!)… You can see how thoughtful this place is with every little detail beautifully arranged in its place (i.e the matching beautiful kitchen utensils and the GORGEOUS glassware) just bringing everything together for a truly amazing experience.

We stayed at Cynthia’s house for a girl’s trip. Two women on the trip work in hospitality and one in real estate, so expectations are high… The house was clean, nicely decorated, had comfortable beds, and stocked… We highly recommend The House of the Golden Turtle.

This was one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had. Check in was a breeze and the property was beautiful and looked exactly like the photos. The kitchen was also fully stocked with great cookware, kitchen gadgets, and appliances. 12/10 would stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at the House of the Golden Turtle! We used the pool everyday, cooked, and played games! We had everything we needed to do all of that comfortably! Beds were very comfortable and the house was very well located! If it wasn’t so hot outside we could have walked to a lot of great places (opted for the 2 min drive instead)! Lastly, any questions we did have, David responded quickly! Communication was great! The house is exactly as pictured and would recommend to anyone! Great stay, thanks again! 🙂

This house is amazing. It was so quiet and relaxing. Everything you can think of Cynthia has made sure to equip the home with. She was prompt with responding when I had a specific question regarding my stay and was so kind. The touches in the home are spectacular. This place is an oasis for sure. Happy we had the time to relax here and highly recommend to anyone looking to come out to Palm Springs.

We rented the House of the Golden Turtle for a long weekend and had a blast. All four of us had our own beds, the kitchen and living area were generous and comfortable, and the outdoor space with the heated pool, lounge chairs, and long table were perfect for a combination of working and playing. Thanks for a great trip!

Excellent property. Perfect for 4-6 people. Well furnished house with plenty of amenities. Air conditioning worked great. The pool and hot tub were fantastic and the outdoor space had tons of lounge furniture, BBQ, fire pit and outdoor dining seating. Plus you could move the umbrellas around the deck as needed. Plenty of sunlight throughout the day and perfect space to relax. The location of the home is phenomenal. It is within 0.5 mile of the core of downtown Palm Springs. There is excellent hiking within a quarter of a mile at Tahquitz Canyon or South Lykken Trail. I absolutely would stay here again and would highly recommend for families or couples of 4-6 people.

What a fantastic find. The house was exactly like in pictures; super clean and looked freshly remodeled. In fact, in this price range it was by far the best property we’ve stayed at in PS. Kitchen had absolutely everything you could think of (and more); there are three smart TVs, big floaties for the pool etc. David – the local manager was easy to communicate with as well.

In fact, the entire rental process was the quickest and least cumbersome from all our trips to PS so far, while renting through Verbo or their competitor. Could not be easier.

Finally, we never stayed on the east side of town, but loved it. Very nice neighborhood, very quite street, great mountains views and more than usual trees made for a really nice, vacation ambience. Both Ralphs 3 minutes away, downtown 3 minutes away. Highly recommended.

This was an excellent place to stay. The decor and furnishings are wonderful! The pool and hot tub were great. The backyard view of the mountains is just like the beautiful photos. This house was stocked and had everything we needed! We didn’t have to bug the host for anything. Beds are super comfy. Everything worked as it should. Great location close to town. Highly highly highly recommend this place! We will return 100%.

Cynthia’s home is such a special place💜.. We had a wonderful family vacation staying there and made lots of great memories… 🌵🌻. From waking up to the beautiful mountain views to riding bikes to town for coffee and dinner to just relaxing by the pool. It was all perfect!! We will be back:). 🌵
